The Son of W****

explanation of the work: 

For Son of a W***** I used the painting The Son of Man by the
Belgian artist René Magritte as a reference.

According to one interpretation of Magritte's painting, the figure represents Adam in disguise of a modern man, standing before temptation, symbolized by the apple. In my version, however, Adam has already taken hold of the apple.

To me, this reflects my perception of the world today - a world defined by absurdity, chaos, and surrealism. The character in my painting symbolizes humanity as a whole and its voluntary desire to immerse itself in this madness.

Although I am not a religious person myself, I chose to express this idea through religious symbolism. It is present in the original painting and remains a visual language that is familiar and understandable to most people.
