The Last Dinner stages a moment of quiet performance, where charm and danger sit side by side.
Three figures gather in formal attire, their expressions composed yet subtly disconnected, as if each carries a private intention beneath the surface. A martini is raised in casual ease, while a severed pig's head rests on a platter-symbols of indulgence, excess, and the cost that comes with it.
Sharp, gestural lines cut through the composition, creating a sense of unease beneath the polished exterior. What feels like a celebration begins to shift into something more calculated, where hospitality becomes theater and trust feels uncertain.
The painting holds tension between appearance and truth, suggesting that behind the most inviting smiles, something far more dangerous may be at play.
