It is what it is… a form of protective headgear. But the helmet does much more then protect against physical attacks. As the head is the house of the mind the helmet becomes an essential key item to the Anthropologist, worn to shield her form outer disturbances – keeping her thoughts wondering & her imagination clean.
Though wearing a uniform makes her stand out... as you may have noticed in the visuals art featuring the Anthropologist... putting on her helmet is like a power boost: her focus is sharpened and ready for exploration.
Helmets has been used far back in history and in most cultures indicating the rank or identity of the wearer – making helmets the obvious equipment to be adorned with decorations from high ridges to feathers, engravings… tags or stickers.
The Anthropologist of course has her helmet uniquely personalized as well… But it is an ever-changing design reflecting the aim of her curiosity or whatever might be brainstorming through her mind.
