Just before the world comes to a standstill, they stand in the shadow of what they understand. The colors of the sun melt gently, but between them there is something worn.

She leans against his back, without promises, without security. The hands are still, the heart is heavy, words are empty, hope is young.

They have spoken, and time passes, but no one knows what the future holds. The distance waits, the door is ajar – but right now they are still “them”.
