The relief is based on panel 9/10 of "Alexander the Great's Entry into Babylon".
Cast in plaster it depicts the Anthropologist as an omnipresent and historical character - she has in some way always existed, through the art of Anthropology.
The relief shows the Anthropologist wearing her characteristic helmet and carrying the banner previously presented in the work Riot!.
Riding a unicorn, she forms the vanguard of a parade as a messenger of hope in the fight to heal late-modern society's loss of magic and innocence.
The unicorn's horn was traditionally considered to be able to neutralize the poisoned and strengthen inner faith - to which the pencil refers to art as the healing power from which faith in goodness can be regained.
