We exist suspended between two realms — the physical, where matter and touch still mean something, and the digital, an endless current of images and sounds that vanish with a single swipe. Sometimes, when I call his name, he removes one earbud and returns — hesitant, as though crossing a fragile border back into reality. It’s strange to think that only a thin piece of plastic separates our worlds.
