A Divine Love presents a figure consumed by the idea of love, caught between longing and the quiet awareness of its consequences. Her face, partially obscured and abstracted, feels both present and unraveling-suggesting a mind pulled between clarity and emotional fixation.
The rose she holds, a symbol of devotion and desire, is painted over and disrupted, as if even she senses that what she reaches for may not remain untouched.
There's a tension in her stillness, a kind of surrender, where love becomes less of a choice and more of an inevitability. Gestural lines and layered paint create a restless surface, echoing an internal push and pull between hope and self-preservation.
The painting captures the weight of loving too deeply-where she leans in fully, even knowing it may be the very thing that breaks her.
