"Photolithography is similar to traditional lithography, the difference is that instead of using a lithographic stone, you use an aluminium plate with a photosensitive emulsion.
I drew my image on a true grain (a texture sheet of polyester drafting film) and then insolated it. After that, I developed the plate with an specific developer diluted in water, and then, with pure developer I started to degrade the image (always with wet plate and cleaning it inmediately with water to not completely erase the image).
When it was finished I prepared it with a mix of arabic gum and phosphoric acid. Then, the printing is like traditional lithography (you damp the plate, and with an ink-loaded roller, in black offset in this case, you ink up the plate and pass it through the press).
Finally, I also printed a background as a glaze using an acetate with a mix of black offset and transparent."
