Collection: Luisa Zay
Luisa (1990) studied Illustration design with a focus on drawing andpainting at the AID in Berlin in 2014.
Since 2018, she has lived as an artist and illustrator in Berlin, Copenhagen, and currently in Cologne. Her work have been exhibited at various locations, including Taipei, Cologne, Bonn and Berlin.
In Luisa´s work, she strives to uncover the physical world and present it in a pure, almost vulnerable form. A crowded supermarket or an ordinary refrigerated shelf – her paintings capture moments that serve as non-judgmental societal reflections.
Whether and what stories are hidden behind her work is not for her to decide, but for the spectater themselve.
