Michael Davydov

International artist, born in Russia in 1996, currently lives and works in Denmark

From early childhood Michael was fond of drawing, and in his student years he participated in several joint exhibitions of fine arts. He actively began his creative activity as an artist in 2019, after moving to Ukraine, exploring and being inspired by the genre of miniature and sculpture, and later combining them.

Michaels style is basically a mixture of elements of miniature architecture and natural motifs, placed in various glass vessels.

Finding inspiration in nature and architecture, accumulating the images and sensations Michael has seen, he allows it to mix with his current state and thoughts. This results in what he calls a conversation with the viewer about big things, through small ones.

Behind the various laconic miniature plots you can see the leitmotifs of the fragile world, nature, the harmonious place of man in nature and, most importantly, the theme of home, which for the author is extremely sensitive and fragile.

Michael has a successful experience of joint exhibitions of his sculptures in Paris, Hamburg and now also Denmark. Several hundred works are in private collections around the world.
