Moods, Memories & Mystique
Space opens on Saturday 9 March at 13 - 16 o'clock with a new group exhibition,
"Moods, Memories & Mystique".
Space introduces a new Danish artist - namely Jeppe Nedergaard. Jeppe's painting style is recognizable and full of atmosphere. He paints with broad and vivid strokes, which are carefully balanced. The detail depends on the eye that sees, and it leaves room for free interpretation.
With Thommas Linnnrose (DK), Space presents a series of powerful new works that are a reflection of the themes and events that shape our lives, seen through the lens of magical realism.
You can experience German, Christopher Kieling's (DE) stage-like compositions, which create dialogue between his protagonists and their surroundings. Props and expressive gestures compose a story, which the viewer is challenged to unravel.
Last but certainly not least, you should look forward to the mythical ceramic sculptures by the English Sharon Griffin. Her first exhibition with us sold out in a few weeks and there is already a waiting list for more. Her sculptures are directly inspired by the woods close to her home, which Sharon uses as a form of meditation.
It will be a blast of an afternoon in the name of art, where we will of course also dish up bubbles, wine and snacks.
Mark your calendar and join us for an artistic event filled with creativity, inspiration and good company. We look forward to welcoming you inside.
